Skype is one of the popular applications nowadays across the worlds. This will help you stay connected with your loved ones from different parts of the world no matter where they are staying; this will provide you with a free service. Skype is an only which allows you to make a good quality phone call, video call, and you can also send messages with many new emojis.

You can not only use this application on smartphones, but you can also access it on your Windows PC and Mac. To use Skype, you need to create an account, and have Wi-Fi connectivity, a microphone port and your updated gadget.

How to Download and Install Skype?

  • Check whether you have a Microsoft email ID or not.

Instead of having Facebook, Yahoo, Gmail ID, you should have a Microsoft ID.

  • Open the Skype official site.

The official website of Skype is www.skype.com. You can use any web browser.

  • Press Get Skype option.

It has a symbol of blue colour which you will see in the central part of the desktop. If you want to get access on Skype, then you have to install it first from its official website first.

  • Wait for the app to download

 In case you are using a laptop, pressing Get Skype option to start a Windows Store application page, on that option you have to tap Get or Install option in the play store application. But in case of Mac, Skype started downloaded automatically.

  • If required, then install the Skype application first.

 If you are using a laptop, Skype will download itself, but Mac owners have to install it by opening the Skype folder and after that pressing and installing the Skype symbol placed in the Applications file.

  • Go to the Skype page and then Log in.

In case you are already a member, then login in it by entering the username and password. But if you are not an existing member, then first create your account before you move forward to other steps.

How to Make a Conversation on Skype?

  • Go through Skype contacts.

Press the “Contacts” symbol; it is a profile of a person on the left side of the Skype page. This will open a page of Microsoft login page or mobile phone number.

  • Choose a contact.

Press a contact option to show you a complete list of conversations you have made.

  • Tap the Text column.

You will see a text comes on the end of the page which is “Type a message.”

  • Type a text to whom you want to send.

Write a text whatever you like to send it to your friends and relatives.

  • Click Enter key in your keyboard.

By pressing on the enter key this will send your written text to that friend, or you can start a new chat with them. You will need all your chats to come in the left side of your Skype Page, and there is also an option of deleting that conversation.
