How to Use Pandora on your PC

Pandora is an internet radio service that contains more than 800,000 tracks of over 80,000 artists. Pandora gives its user personalized music experiences that continually evolve their taste.

Steps to use Pandora on your PC

1. Go to www.pandora.com with your favorite internet browser.

Use another internet browser if any problem is happening in accessing the website.

2. Click on the ‘Sign in’ link near the bottom of the page.

If you don’t have a Pandora account then Create an account for you:

• When you open the site for the first time “Sign up for free” screen will automatically prompt on your screen.
• Enter all the information asked on the sign-up form.
• Read terms of use and Check the box to accept them.
• And then click on ‘Register’ to continue.

3. Type artist name, song, or genre you like into the Create Station field.
4. Select the songs or genre from the suggestions as it appears. You can create a new station and edit your current station when you want.
5. Play your first station. Pandora will analyze your choice and create a playlist based on your choice. Try your first playlist.
6. Click on ‘Thumbs-up’ icon to like the songs you enjoy. This will help Pandora to edit and create a playlist according to your choice.
7. Click on ‘Thumbs-down’ icon to dislike and remove a song from the playlist. This will not only remove and skip the song you dislike but also tell Pandora to not play songs like this.
8. Use ‘Controls button’ given on the upside of the track to Play/Pause, Volume, Next, etc.

• Click ‘Play/Pause’ button to stop and start playing the track.
• Click ‘Next’ button to skip the song. You can also use ‘Thumbs-down’ button to dislike and skip a song.
• Click on ‘I’m Tired of this Track’ to take the break from a song. Pandora will eliminate the song from your playlist for some days or month.

9. Click on ‘Add Variety’ button on the left side menu to add some new influence to your playlist or station.
10. Click on the ‘+ Create Station’ button at the top-left corner of the screen to create new stations for another kind of music, artist, songs. Enter the name of the music, artist, songs and pick it from the list.
11. Click on the ‘Station’ buttons at the side of the screen to switch between stations.

That’s it! As per the music license of the Pandora a free account user only skip six songs per hours for every station. It means you can skip only twenty-four songs in a day. The limits for skipping songs will depend on the button you use ‘Next, Thumbs-down, I’m tired of this track.’ So, if you want to listen to different type of music create a new station or wait for the time limit to complete.
